Funds from the Walk at East End will support Peconic Bay Medical Center's Breast Health Program and the new Center for Women and Infants.

Breast Health Program: Peconic Bay Medical Center (PBMC) wants patients to receive the highest quality care, close to home. Funds raised for the Walk will go toward expanding the Breast Health Program so PBMC can further develop and perform highly specialized breast health services for both women and men with breast cancer at any stage in their journey. PBMC aims to provide the most advanced breast care in the region, from the latest diagnostic procedures to the most innovative treatment options.

Center for Women and Infants: Peconic Bay Medical Center is committed to creating one facility where new mothers and their babies can stay together while they each receive the best possible health care. Funds from the Walk will support the expansion of a comprehensive Center for Women and Infants, including plans for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a postnatal care unit, and a state-of-the-art delivery unit – all in one place. Your support will ensure that new moms and babies in Eastern Suffolk County receive the care they need and the comfort of being close to one another.
