Your Walk. Your Community’s Health.
We know that nothing is more important to you than your family’s health. You want to know that the best care is available for them whenever they need it, right in your community. That’s why our biggest priority is bringing high quality healthcare to all the communities we serve.
When you sign up for the Northwell Health Walk, you’re joining thousands of neighbors and family members across New York who believe in supporting our mission: to keep our communities healthy.
This year, the Northwell Health Walk will be a hybrid Walk, meaning walkers can choose to join the Walk in person (from one of five Walk locations) or virtually (from a location of their choice).
Keep Your Funds Local
Whether you’re intending to join the live event or are participating virtually, the first step is to select a Walk location and benefiting organization to support. That’s how you can be sure that the funds you raise stay in your community. For in-person walkers, this step will also dictate where you go to participate on Walk Day, May 22, 2022.
You can choose from the following Walk locations and medical facilities:
(Click the location of your choice for more information or to register)
- Medical Center: Peconic Bay Medical Center
Walk Location: Tanger Outlets, Riverhead
- Medical Centers: Cohen Children’s Medical Center and the Katz Institute for Women’s Health

Sunday, May 22, is Walk Day!
Walk Day is about being active, celebrating your fundraising achievements and connecting with your fellow walkers.

Virtual walkers can kick off the day by exploring everything our Walk website has to offer, including an Opening Ceremony and activities for the whole family. Then start your Walk however and wherever you choose!
