Your Community’s Health...and Yours.
Good health is everything. When you or your family need medical attention, nothing is more important than having the best possible care, right in your community. You’re not alone in feeling that way, which is why Northwell Health is committed to bringing high-quality health care to all of the communities we serve.
When you sign up for the Northwell Health Walk, you’re joining a movement of thousands of neighbors and family members who are ready to stand up and take steps with Northwell Health to support local healthcare heroes and ensure that quality medical care is available to everyone who needs it. When you get out and get walking for the Northwell Health Walk you’re raising your community’s health…and your own.
Keep Your Funds Local
When you register for the Northwell Health Walk, the first step is to select a Walk location and Northwell hospital or program to support. That’s how you can be sure that the funds you raise stay in your local community. That Walk location will dictate where you go to participate on Walk Day–May 21, 2023.
A virtual option is also available for those who can’t make it to one of our five Walk locations. Virtual Walkers will also be prompted to choose a Walk site and local hospital or program to support.

Sunday, May 21, is Walk Day!
Walk Day is a celebration of our fundraising accomplishments and our collective commitment to raise health in our communities. It’s also an engaging way to get out, get active, have fun with your family and connect with walkers in your community.
Walkers will join us at their chosen Walk location, where they’ll find an impactful opening ceremony, supported walk routes, music and entertainment, interactive health-related booths, kids’ activities and more.
Those who are participating virtually will complete their Walk in a location of their choice. There will be numerous ways to connect with your fellow walkers throughout the day, as well as downloadable content on our website to enjoy.
