Every dollar raised for the The Northern Westchester Hospital Annual Funds helps save and improve lives by supporting supports programs that:

  • Enable us to nimbly respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, treating those who are ill, and remaining a reliable source of education and prevention.
  • Provide thousands of FREE wellness therapies to cancer patients and survivors: The Yablon Cancer Health & Wellness Program offers health coaching, nutrition counseling, mental health support, acupuncture, and more to support those who are coping with a cancer diagnosis.
  • Offer unparalleled cardiac care close to home: In its first year, our renowned team at the Seema Boesky Heart Center performed over 2,000 catheterization and electrophysiology procedures – all while achieving some of the best quality outcomes in the region.
  • Expand our ability to tackle health disparities through high-quality outreach services, including dedicated programming for children, seniors, and the underserved.
 

Team Member Support Fund

The past two years have been an extraordinarily trying time for those in the caring profession. And for some, the burdens of the pandemic are compounded by personal hardship. The mission of the Team Member Support Fund is to provide financial assistance to team members and their families in times of personal need. Your funds allow us to take care of our team members, so that they can continue to provide the unparalleled care you count on.

Center for Advanced Procedures, our new Neurosciences Center of Excellence
Strokes are a leading cause of permanent disability, the fifth leading cause of death and one of the most frequent causes of memory loss.  Two years ago Phelps introduced the highest, most sophisticated standard of care for acute strokes: minimally-invasive Neuro-Endovascular Surgery.  Our new Center for Advanced Procedures featuring a BiPlane Neuro-Angiography Suite will allow us to expand this program and perform even more complex neurosurgical procedures.  Timely intervention with patients experiencing a stroke and other neurological disorders is critical. Your support will allow Phelps to continue to expand these leading-edge services close to home.

People Caring for People Education Fund funds education and training for Phelps team members to advance their ability to provide the exceptional, compassionate care for which Phelps is known. It allows them to be on the forefront of advances is healthcare and medicine and supports team members’ ability to grow and advance in their careers.
