Over the past couple of years my family has been battling breast cancer.  It started in December 2020 (covid times) my husband was diagnosed with breast cancer-and then on May 6th, 2022, I had my breast cancer surgery.   We both had the same kind and on the same side- I guess we are soul mates.

We are pleased to say both of us are doing well and cancer free!! 

We both had our surgeries and treatments at Peconic Bay Medical- Northwell Health.  Thank God we have amazing doctors out here to treat us and luckily, it’s right in our back yard. 

We joined the walk last year and couldn't believe what a great event it was.  I want to thank all our friends and family for walking with us and all who donated.  Words cannot express how full our hearts are knowing what a caring community we all live in!
