Join us at the 2023 Northwell Health Walk in Westchester on Sunday, May 21!

When you register for the Northwell Health Walk, you’re joining thousands of New Yorkers who are committed to keeping our communities healthy!

Date: Sunday, May 21, 2023.
Walk Location: Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598 (Exit 16 off the Taconic State Parkway)
Registration/Festival Opens: 8:30 AM
Opening Ceremony: 9:45 AM
Walk Begins: 10:00 AM

We’ve got tons of fun coming your way at Westchester including:
​- Get active: E-bikes, Zumba warm up, Kickball, Basketball
- Have fun: Music, WHUD Prize Wheel, Lawn games, Photo fun station, and Giveaways
- Recharge: Tai chi, Reiki, Yoga, Medispa, Mini horses, Therapy dogs, Sensory safe space
- Bring the kids: LEGOLAND, DIY Slime, Bubbles, Crafts, Touch-a-truck
Get nourished: Healthy food trucks and a Bobo’s catered VIP breakfast for our top teams!

In-Person Walkers

When You Arrive on Sunday:

  1. Check-in: Have your QR Code ready to be scanned at check-in. If someone you know that is registered for the Walk did not receive their QR Code, our check-in staff can look them up upon arrival.
  2. Non-Registered Guests: For a faster check-in, any guest accompanying you on Walk Day that is 14 years of age or older, must pre-register at www.northwellhealthwalk.com/RegisterWestchester or by scanning the designated “Register Here” QR Code signs outside of the festival entrance. Guests must show their registration confirmation email to Walk staff to enter.
  3. Wristbands: Pick up your commemorative Walk wristband. Choose one color that best represents your connection to Northwell (1 wristband per person).
  4. Halo Rewards Tent: Have your QR code ready to be scanned to pick up your rewards. If you did not receive a QR Code, you may show your fundraising page with your total raised to verify.
  5. Donations: Cash and check donations will be accepted on Walk Day.

Virtual Walkers
  1. Print your Walk Bib and personalize it with why you Walk!
  2. If you’ve earned a Walk t-shirt, wear it to show your Northwell Health pride! 
  3. Go out and Walk! You decide when, where, and how far. Be sure to take photos along the way.
  4. Share your photos on social media! Use #NorthwellHealthWalk or #SupportNorthwell and tag us @NorthwellHealthFoundation on Facebook or Instagram. Only public profiles will be featured on our Social Wall.
  5. Fundraising is open through June 2, so grab a few last minute donations! You can still qualify for individual rewards including our Grand Prize

Funds raised for the Northwell Health Walk at Westchester will support Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Hospital.

Sensory Carts for Children: Nurturing an inclusive healing environment for all children with tools designed to offer comfort and improve care for young patients with autism and other behavioral, emotional, physical and learning challenges.

Team Member Support Fund: Dedicated to supporting team members and their families in times of severe hardship, so they can continue to provide the unparalleled care our community relies on. 

Phelps Hospital

People Caring for People Education Fund funds education and training for Phelps team members to advance their ability to provide exceptional and compassionate care. It allows them to be on the forefront of advances in healthcare and medicine and supports team members’ ability to grow and advance in their careers.
